Definition of Rubber Cable

Rubber cable is also known as rubber cable. It is a power cable with various rubber or thermosetting elastomer with identical properties as the insulation and sheath.



The Production Process of Rubber Cables

First: Add the desired compound to the rubber to plasticize the rubber.

Second: Mix carbon black and various rubber additives with rubber evenly.

Thirdly: The rubber is pressed into the shape of blanks by a laminator. 

Finally: Rubber and metal materials are combined to form a semi-finished product, which is vulcanized to form an elastic solid.    

Characteristics of Rubber Cables

1. The long-term allowable working temperature of the cable should not exceed 105℃.

2. Rubber cable has some weather resistance and some oil resistance. It is suitable for use outdoors or in contact with oil and dirt.

3. The cable is flame-retardant and meets the single vertical burning requirements of GB/T18380.1-2001.

4. Cable at 20 ℃, insulation resistance between the cores of insulation up to 50MΩKM or more.

5. Rubber cables can avail of electrical equipment and can withstand big mechanical external forces.
